Having constantly been urged by friends and strangers to ‘do something special with that voice of yours,’ I finally jumped into voice acting and have loved every minute of it. Collaborating with others to relay a message and bring a phrase to life is a continually surprising and rewarding process.

Outside of voice acting, I have been a lifelong educator. As a Peace Corps Volunteer, I taught English at a rural secondary school in Mozambique; I have also taught seventh grade literature, directed summer and enrichment programs for recently arrived refugee students, and run an after school program for second – fifth graders in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

In short, when I am not around kids, I am acting like one – channeling their energy, creativity, curiosity, and honesty in all that I do.

A fundamental truth that I have taken away from years of teaching is that nothing can substitute preparation and hard work. Having a unique voice is great, but it means nothing if a voice actor is not willing to learn, listen to what clients want, and understand the message they are trying to convey.

I am here for you not just until the message is done, but until the message is done right.
