IN SUMMARY: I put the Lively in the Arts! Request a free no obligation quote.

Hi, Christian “Spike” Kuenn here. Please, I go by my nickname, Spike. I’ve always enjoyed talking about the things that I do or don’t enjoy doing. Whether it’s to one person or a room full of people.

I’ve enjoyed reading to my kids, speaking to a crowd of scouting parents, doing preshow announcements at the various theatres that I’ve worked for and doing actual Voice Over recordings for the trade show exhibit company that I work for at present.

I am not shy behind a mic. I’ve had a FCC Technician’s License (KC9HSD) for nearly 15 years. I have performed in a German drum & bugle corps called the Spielmannszug Milwaukee for well over 30 years. I have a collection of brass instruments just for fun.

I also take direction very well having worked for designers and directors in both the theatre (mostly musical and opera) and trade show businesses. When out at a trade show I run the set-up crew that I meet up with in a given city somewhere. One of my favorite clients is SHURE. I worked with them for over 23 years creating displays and setting up their equipment for use in there booths.

I’m the part time financial secretary for the Sign & Display Local 770 in Milwaukee specializing in trade show exhibits. When I’m not doing all of that I’ll be out on my ’86 Honda 450 Rebel. No moss on this rolling stone!

I have a Mature, Milwaukee midwest voice. Well suited for commercials, travalogues, historical narrations, audio books and more. My actual German is very rusty.

However, being in the weekly presence of old fanfare spielers (bugle players) a German accent is almost second nature with me. A regional dialect would take some extra practice. My French est aussi mauvais. Je parle seulement un peu.

I will put all of this to work for my clients. This will set them at ease with what they hear and have them enjoy listening to their project whether it’s a commercial, narrative, or story. They will receive a polished work that they can take to the bank.

Equipment:

Focusrite Scarlett Solo Studio 3rd-Gen rig and edit with Audacity software. I also have a variety of other SHURE mics in my collection including a PG-42 USB studio mic.

Experience:

As I stated above, I've done live preshow announcements with theatres that I've worked for and recordings(museum, client and team building) for the trade show company that I work for. I've been with Such A Voice for over a year and have professionally done demo recordings. I love working from my home studio.
